Carla Herrero is the Program Manager of WALK. She puts lots of effort on doing things with great enthusiasm, creativity, efficiency and a strong attention to detail.
As Program Manager, Carla always pursues to make a positive and meaningful impact on the client, being sure that everyone make the most of the program’s experience.
Before joining WALK, Carla worked for Youth Europa, an organization that focuses on non-formal education and is funded by Erasmus Plus frame. There, she had different roles: Human resources, facilitator, project manager and, she was Relationship Manager with the pool organizations around Europe.
Additionally, Carla worked in the field of social entrepreneurship, focusing on mental health and violence prevention. She received awards and internships from companies like Telefónica, Puig, Ashoka, Fundación Más Humano and she obtained certifications and training from companies like IBM and Google. She also did a TED talk and is occasionally invited to participate in Foundations, media interviews and public institutions as a speaker, making professional presentations about personal development, improvement and, resilience. In addition, she volunteered for the United Nations as a Research Data Analyst and was an active member for some years in the European Youth Parliament, Swedish Branch.
Carla has a Psychology degree from UNED and is specialized in Health and Organizational Psychology. She has Human Resources Course Certifications from Hewlett-Packard and IESE and Digital Marketing Certification from Google.
Carla works in Spanish, Catalan and English with occasional adventures in French.
