José María Cervera

José María is a consultant of WALK. HE worked in a multinational environment in Board and CEO positions in different countries. After more than 25 years of field experience, he is now focused on sharing the learnings acquired to motivate and transfotrm people and organizations for a better and more productive personal and professional performance.

José María played a protagonist role in the cultural transformation of the companies he worked for. He also dared to create and implement successful business model changes to let the organizations keep on developing their future. His capabilities to create a challenging and good atmosphere allowed a remarkable commitment and engagement leap of the teams. Besides that, he has a robust network in the Distribution and Gastronomy sectors.

Before this new approach, he worked for Makro in Spain and The Netherlands as Board Member and in Hungary, Spain and Portugal as CEO. Among other responsibilities on top,

José María was the President of the Spanish Cash & Carry Association and is member of the advisory board of several companies and associations. José María has a degree in Law, MBA (Instituto de Empresa), Accelerated Development Program ADP (London Business School), ADECA (Instituto San Telmo, Sevilla), Programa de Alta Dirección en Internet Business PADIB (ISDI), and is a Certificated Coach (Escuela Europea de Coaching).
